WHEN YOU WRITE CONTENT ON YOUR BLOG TO RANK IN THE SEARCH ENGINES -MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE RIGHT KEYWORDS INTO YOUR CONTENT.

Let say you have a website on bikes.  What you  do is go to Google and punch in push bike.

Now, what other keywords do you think will come up on the first page of Google related to push bike?  You might see cycle, mountain bike, bicycle, bike videos, photos, or cheap push bikes, push bike forums and reviews.

You use these keywords and tie them into your content.  You know those are the kind of keywords that people are searching for.

1. OIL RIG HOPPING (BLOG HOPPING)…

IF I ASKED YOU WHERE THE BEST TUNA FISHING IS-WHERE WOULD YOU GO?

IT’S A KNOWN FACT THAT THE BEST TUNA FISHING IN THE WORLD IS AROUND OIL RIGS.  THEY BECOME MAN-MADE REEFS.

Imagine that this oil rig in the middle of the ocean is your blog.  Over time algae will start to grow on the legs of this oil rig.  And soon after this little clams come along to start to eat the algae.  And sooner, or later, the little fish swim by and start to eat the clams.  The little fish attract the bigger fish who comes to eat the little fish.  And a bigger fish comes to eat that fish.  And then bigger fish come.  Before you know it these oil rigs are swarming with the biggest barracuda’s and tuna fish in the world.  And the biggest sharks you’ve ever seen.

So this is your blog.  The algae that grows on the blog over time is your content.  The little clams are the people who leave the comments on your blog.  And then the little fish swimming by when they see the comments say ‘wow’ this is a place that’s quite active.  Let’s take a little nibble and see what’s going on here.  The little fish attract bigger fish.  And so on and so forth.

And now what you have is a very active blog of content, comments and potential customers.  Now you use your free ebooks as your fishing hooks and now they are on your mailing list.
